Santa is a GEEK!

Seems Santa is a techie too,  He has upgraded the tools he uses online this year to better interact with his public.  In the past I would have to “track down Santa’s number every year” (my Father’s) and then call him from my cellphone (with contact picture changed) so my kids could speak with him.  This year we have better resources to track down the fat jolly one.

One of my favorite online Santa tools is the Portable North Pole This is a site that allows you to send custom video messages from Santa.  In fact I made a video just for you, visitor of my website. Click Here to see your video.

“Santa” wink..wink… made a custom video for my children as well; my seven year old couldn’t stop giggling the entire time she watched it, and my son couldn’t figure out how Santa knew so much about him.  I sent a few to coworkers as well, not sure if they giggled or not.

Another customizable Santa communication is sponsored by Google Voice.  This one will personalize calls from Santa to your child, family or coworker.  The amusing part is it will also spoof the caller ID of any number you want to put in.  Spoofing Caller ID can be fun just by itself.   SendaCallfromSanta.com also knows what time it is, when I was testing I tried to send a call to my phone late at night and the website made me wait until after 8 a.m.  So no prank phone calls from Santa at two in the morning.

And finally to track Santa once he starts his deliveries we are going to enlist all the resources of the North American Aerospace Defense Command, when NORAD isn’t trying to detect attacks against North America whether by aircraft, missiles, or space vehicles they are busy tracking our favorite over-sized elf via their Santa Tracker Website.  This is the 55th year that NORAD has track Santa. They have a Christmas Countown, online Tracking resources that are much better than I’ve seen from USPS and also have a Google Earth plugin that will track Santa in 3D.

With all these tools you still aren’t convinced Santa is a Geek just remember he owns the largest database in the world and lives at the North Pole just to keep his PC cool.

Have a Merry Christmas!
